Ohio State Testing Information and Important Dates
Dear Parent(s) / Guardian(s):
We would like to first thank you for your admiration and perseverance as we all have championed our efforts to make this the best school year possible during a pandemic. Facing challenge, after challenge, we move forward to our next hurdle presented; the Ohio State Test. Beginning the week of April 5th, scholars in grades 3-8 will be completing the in-person Ohio State Test. The assessments will contain a variety of multiple choice questions, extended response questions, and short answer questions that the state of Ohio does not permit schools to administer virtually.
Using a number of various safety practices to keep students and staff safe, assessments will begin promptly at 8:30 am. It is imperative your son/daughter:
- Gets plenty of rest during assessment week
- Attends school every day, on time.
Attendance is imperative during the month of April. Any scholars who are absent or tardy on their testing date must make-up the missed assessment. Students entering the building after 8:20 am are considered tardy and will impact their ability to assess on their assigned date. Please ensure your student is dropped off by 8:15 am on their assigned testing date (pick-up is at 1:00 pm). Please see below and save your child’s testing date as a reminder:
