Student Life

Beyond the classroom, our students have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of school-sponsored activities.

Extracurricular Programs

Our academic program is further enriched by extracurricular programs and experiences.

Clubs change annually based on student and teacher interest.  Currently, we have Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Choir, Student Government, and more.  We encourage students to bring their ideas.

We offer many sports opportunities including Volleyball, Cheerleading, and Karate. These sports take place after school and on the weekends. There is a $10 monthly fee for Karate, which is distributed to supplies required for students to participate.

Field trips offer a chance for students to learn outside the classroom. Field trips are provided over the course of the school year and depend on grade level. Information regarding field trips, times, and locations will be provided to the parents by classroom teachers and administration.

We have partnered with organizations to develop programs that provide students the opportunity to become involved with our school and the community.  Through our partnership with The Rainey Institute, students can participate in an after school Art Program.  Our partnership with Pastoral Counseling provides students with mental health counseling throughout the school year.  We have also implemented a Fitness Program to keep students active and healthy.

Extended Day Care

We have had a number of requests for before and after school care between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. We hope to offer these programs in the coming school year. Contact the front desk to put your name on the interest list.

Facilities

A safe and secure school is our first priority. We incorporate physical security measures and crisis planning to keep our school safe. Our school safety plan includes cameras, secured school entrance, and on-going training for all teachers and support staff.
